Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened (226.8g)
  • 1-½ cups sugar (300g)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2-¾ cups flour (343.75g)

Cinnamon Mixture:

  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  • Cream butter, sugar, and eggs.
  • Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Chill dough for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 375F/190C.
  • Roll the chilled dough into balls. Roll each ball in the cinnamon mixture.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Notes

Freeze the dough up to 3 months or keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Keep baked cookies on the counter for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
